Packing and Travel Monday, Jul 13 2009

I’m a lil bit of a ger.mo.phobe.  I like staying at hotels and resosrts, but I also HATE staying at hotels and resorts.  I worry about what’s on my sheets.  If they were cleaned…those exposé reports reveal so much dirt about the hotel industry.  It’s nauseating.

What safeguard measures do you take?  Do you bring your own sheets? Towels?  Bring papercups?  Do you spray the sheets and comforters down with anything before you sleep on them?

I got home yesterday and didn’t unpack a thing.  That’s my m.o.   I hate unpacking….argh.  I’m forced to since we’ll be headed to Tampa this weekend.  Yup..right back on a plane.

My ear has been shooting piercing pains all day today.  I don’t know if its from the flight yesterday or if my ear has another infection coming…double argh!  I need to get it checked it asap…which would be tomorrow since I spent my lunch break stuffing my face.

Weekend turn-out Monday, Jul 13 2009

I made my flight on Friday and things went smoothly.  Overall I had a really good time.  Getting away for the weekend revealed how stressful NY is .  I didn’t have to drive while there  Sitting in the passenger seat for once was like whoa!  Not only that…I just realized that getting from A to B in NY is way more strenous that anywhere else.  It makes me think of that saying “If you can make it here…you can make it anywhere”.

It was good to see my girl and just talk.  I found a church out there that I really liked.  It showed me not to judge a book by its cover.  I tend to initially judge churches by the amount of people there.   This is totally based on my past experiences.  This one proved me wrong and I was so happy.

Pserendipity made a joke about the way I sound because I’m from NY.  I got a taste of what she was saying listening to the native Virginians.

When I got back into NY my girl was supposed to pick me up from the airport, she overslept from partying just hours before.  It was ok, my aunt came to pick me up.  Then I set out for my journey upstate to get Bird.  Oh how I longed to be a passenger.  I was so sleepy going and coming back.

By the time we made it home I had done some food shopping..I cooked…twisted my hair and hit the bed.
